The Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife) invites sealed bids for Tree Clearing and Mowing/Mulching at the Myles Standish State Complex in Plymouth and Wareham, MA. This project involves furnishing all labor and materials, tools and equipment to conduct clearing of White Pine and Pitch Pine trees within the complex to provide important fuel reduction, habitat management, and access improve- ment work during Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) on 125 acres at the Southeast Pinebarrens WMA, located in Plymouth, MA and to conduct mowing and mulching on up to 81 acres at the Maple Springs WMA, located in Plymouth and Ware- ham, MA. Project shall be completed in accordance with specifications prepared by MassWildlife. The estimated project value is $480,000. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid. Bid deposits, pay- able to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, shall be in the form of a bid bond or certified, cashier's or treasurer's check issued by a re- sponsible bank or trust company. Minimum wage rates for this project have been predetermined by M.G.L. under Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, inclusive. Proposals that do not have the Affidavit (of non-collusion, etc.) properly completed will be declared informal. Bids are subject to provisions M.G.L. Chapter 30, Sections 39F, 39G, 39H, 39K and 39M and Chapter 149, Sec- tions 44A to 44H, inclusive. The right is reserved to waive any informality in or reject any or all proposals.
