SCOPE OF WORK: The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is for Pierce County to secure the services of an electrical Contractor to perform miscellaneous skilled electrical maintenance, repairs, replacements & support for Pierce County. The Contractor will work at various Pierce County Facilities or leased spaces located in Pierce County, on an as-needed basis. Question Deadline 01/08/2025 at 4:00 PM PT All questions must be submitted within the Pierce County electronic , under the Clarifications Bidders must be registered in the electronic in order to submit questions. COMPLETION TIME: The Initial Contract Period of Performance will be One (1) Year, commencing from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with the option to renew for an additional year. Total contract time is Not to Exceed Five (2) Years. A Bid Bond is required for this solicitation The County may conduct reference checks for the bidder whose bid is under consideration for award. Failure to provide requested documents when requested within the time period specified, the County may deem the bidder non-responsible. Successful bidder must provide a Contract Bond for $400,000.00. If additional funds are added to the contract via mutually agreed upon amendment, the successful bidder will be expected to bond for the additional amount. 5% Retainage will be held for the full contract amount.
