Bleacher Seating Replacement at Durham County Memorial Stadium RFP No. 25-023 The County of Durham will receive sealed proposals for qualified Contractor(s) to establish a contract to provide bleacher seating replacement for multiple sections of seating at Durham County Memorial stadium . PURPOSE: The purpose and intent of the Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified contractors, who will install aluminum grandstand planks and all associated hardware for seating for selected sections at the Durham County Memorial Stadium. The aluminum plank seating will replace the existing decayed wood seating with vinyl covers. The existing seat support brackets will be used. Work is to be completed at Durham County Memorial Stadium located at 750 Stadium Drive Durham, N.C. 27704 Proposals are encouraged and welcome from historically underutilized businesses (HUBs). The County reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, such proposals as appears in its judgment to be in the best interest of the County. E-mailed questions will be accepted and can be sent to purchasinggroup@dconc.gov TERMS OF CONTRACT: June 30, 2025. a. The successful bidder shall provide the necessary labor, security, permits and safety measures as required to perform the following: o Removal and Disposal of the existing bleacher wooden and vinyl encapsulated plank seating. o This includes all costs associated with the disposal of the old bleacher seating planks, including but not limited to Labor, Dumpsters, Trucking and Disposal Fees. o Inspection of the existing seating anchors/support brackets. Existing seating support brackets should remain in place and used as much as deemed safe by CONTRACTOR. New holes may need to be drilled into the existing support brackets to accommodate the new aluminum plank if required by CONTRACTOR. o If the existing seating support bracket is unusable, replace as necessary. o Install new 12-inch aluminum seat planks and all associated hardware on the South Grandstand- sections B, C and E o Install seat numbers per diagram A4-South Side Upper & Middle (See Attachment H) o Area of work is to be left neat and free of debris. o The stadium will likely still be in operation while the project is ongoing. Contractor lay down areas and working areas must be properly maintained and safe for venue operation, as much as possible. All Contractor's equipment must be stored and not left in the seating sections or on the concourse at the conclusion of each working day. This will be coordinated with the General Services/Stadium Representative. b. If project is completed during the event season, each section shall be completed at one section at a time to limit the impact on facility seating and availability. This will be coordinated by General Services/Stadium Contact. c. Document that contains available information: o Drawings - Floor Plan - South Side Upper & Middle (Attachment H) d. Provide alternate pricing as described in Section 9.0 of this Scope of Services.
