Warren Avenue Two-Way Conversion Location: Brockton, MA Phased Construction, INSERT D. Roadway widening, pavement reclamation and pavement reconstruction will be completed up to and including the intermediate (binder course) with temporary pavement markings along Warren Avenue between Belmont Street and Spring Street by November 26, Page 2 of 2 2025. Drainage and all conduit installations across and along Warren Avenue will also need to be installed. Additionally, all traffic signal equipment, traffic signal specific signing and SMART sensors at each proposed intersection will be installed and fully operational by November 26, 2025, for testing. Sidewalk reconstruction and installation of street lighting, landscaping (including rain gardens) sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, traffic signs not associated with the traffic signals are allowed to extend to 510 calendar days. Side street work including realignment of Highland Street are allowed to extend to 510 calendar days. Estimated Cost: 10.498M The work of this contract includes but is not limited to of full depth roadway reclamation, full depth pavement construction, pavement milling and overlay, removing and stacking or resetting of existing granite curb, installation of new granite curb, construction of sidewalks and curb ramps as well as a raised cycle track, drainage improvements, construction of driveway aprons, loaming and seeding, installation of structural soil, flexible porous pavement (tree well surfacing), trees and plantings, installation of street lighting, installation of signs and pavement markings, safety signing for construction operations, and installing traffic control signal systems (some of which are owner-procured). including video detection, signal posts, signal heads, mast arm assemblies, cabinet pull boxes and conduit.
