Reference Number 0000370982 The Work of this contract consists generally of maintenance dredging the Port of Oakland berths, and as-needed pile driving and repair of wharves and other maritime structures. Maintenance dredging includes excavating material at the Port's berths and transporting and disposing of the material at various sites, including but not limited to; the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Alcatraz Disposal Site, the Montezuma Wetlands Project, and/or the San Francisco Deep Ocean Disposal Site; and the as-needed off-loading not suitable for unconfined aquatic disposal material at the Berth 10 Rehandling Facility, and later disposing of the material after dewatering. The Work may include underwater grading of some berth areas. For the period commencing july 1, 2025 and ending june 30, 2026, 2027, or 2028 oakland, california License, DIR Requirements, and CARB Certification: A California Class A contractor's license is required prior to award of this Contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond are required for this contract. The Port will not conduct a site tour for this project.
