Project consists of: Installation of 24 new cameras, and repair/adjustment of five (5) existing cameras at Hillcrest K8. In addition, the vendor shall provide four (4) attic stock cameras. The existing camera server at the site shall be replaced and upgraded. The selected vendor will be responsible for the installation of all cameras and Milestone programming upon completion. As-builts are required upon completion of the project. The Owner reserves the right to add or deduct any of the additive or deductive items after the lowest responsible and responsive bidder is determined. The lowest bid shall be determined by the amount of the base bid. Scope: Installation of 24 new cameras, and repair/adjustment of five (5) existing cameras at Hillcrest K- 8. The Contract Time shall be ninety (90) calendar days, and liquidated damages for delay shall accrue Bids must be accompanied by a bidders bond, cashiers check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner, as detailed in the Contract Documents. Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum This Contract is not subject to prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6. Prospective bidders must currently be on the District's Certified CUPCCAA Contractor's List. This Contract is subject to the District's Project Labor Agreement.
