Renovation of a detention facility in Gunnison, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Video surveillance upgrade project includes but not limited to upgrading video surveillance in the Henrys section of the Central Utah Correction Facility by replacing existing analog cameras with IP-based cameras in an active detention facility. This will require replacing analog cabling with category cable where necessary, while other areas already have category cabling with analog 2-wire converters. The new cameras will be connected through new patch panels and new network switches to the Pleco VideoXpert professional system. Additive Alternates: Add Alt # 1 : Add cameras, cabling and all peripheral parts and equipment ( switches, patch panels, mounting hardware, etc.) to support the installation of cameras in admin building to the existing video surveillance system. EY102.1 Add Alt # 2 : Add cameras, cabling and all peripheral parts and equipment ( switches, patch panels, mounting hardware, etc.) to support the installation of cameras in visitation area to the existing video surveillance system.
