Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Gunnison, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (Dfcm) is requesting bids for the construction project described as follows: Replace doors and hardware damaged by the flood. The construction cost estimate is $100,000.00. Instructions to bidders include the requirement to submit mandatory bidder background check forms by the specified deadline and attend a mandatory meeting at Cucf Facility. Only bidders listed on the approved bidder addendum may attend the meeting. This project involves the supply and installation of new oak veneer doors with Owner-selected finishes, ensuring they meet specified fire ratings. All doors will feature heavy-duty, ball-bearing hinges designed to fit existing jambs. New hardware will consist of Corbin Mortise ML2000 series locksets with functions matching existing hardware, Corbin "NS" style lever handles in a satin stainless-steel finish, and Corbin 27A1 6-pin large format interchangeable cores. LCN 4040 series door closers will also be installed. The Contractor is responsible for assessing the need for Corbin panic hardware. The project also includes the removal and organized return of existing hardware to the Owner, and the stacking of old doors for Owner disposal. The Owner will be responsible for keying and pinning the new cores.
