The Tree and Shrub Purchase 2025 - Multiple Preserves bid is for the purchase of native trees and shrubs, material only. All tree and shrub stock shall conform to container size and type, caliper and/or height requirements specified in the Contract Price Proposal of the contract/proposal form. Plants shall conform to the most recent version of the American Standard for Nursery Stock ANSI Z60.1 (American Nursery and Landscape Association, Washington D.C.) when not superseded by specifications herein. Any deviations must be approved prior to shipment in writing from Owner. Question Deadline 01/08/2025 at 2:00 PM CT If any prospective Vendor is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Package, such prospective Vendor shall submit to Owner an email, not later than the date and time listed above, directed to Owner's Purchasing Division, purchasingdept@LCFPD.org Bids that are not submitted on the Contract/Bid form or that are not prepared in accordance with these Instructions to Bidders may be rejected. If not rejected, Owner may demand correction of any deficiency and accept the deficiently prepared bid upon compliance with these Instructions to Bidders. Bids submitted are offers only, and the decision to accept or reject is a function of quality, reliability, capability, reputation, and expertise of the Vendors. Owner reserves the right to accept the bid that is, in its judgment, the best and most favorable to the interests of Owner and to the public; to reject the low price bid; to accept any item of any bid; to reject any and all bids; and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted or in the request for bid process, provided, however, the waiver of any prior defect or informality shall not be considered a waiver of any future or similar defect or informality. Vendors should not rely upon or anticipate such waivers in submitting their bid. Upon acceptance of the successful Vendor's bid by Owner, the successful Vendor's bid, the Contract/Bid form, and Owner's notification of acceptance in the form attached to this Request for Bids shall become the Contract for the Products.
