The Work to be done under this Contract consists of the construction of the following items: 1. Asphalt removal. 2. Storm sewer and manholes. 3. Sanitary sewer and manholes. 4. Asphalt pulverizing and tilling. 5. Cement treatment of base rock. 6. Curb, gutter and driveways. 7. Asphalt concrete pavement placement. 8. Traffic control. 9. Other miscellaneous items for completion of work. Contract is for public work subject to BOLI wage rates. Pre-qualifications are required. Bidders must be pre-qualified in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon (ORS 279C.430) to do either Earthwork and Drainage or Asphalt Concrete Paving Improvements. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Sherwood in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The City of Sherwood may reject a bid that does not comply with prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements, including the requirement to demonstrate the bidder's responsibility under ORS 279C.375(3)(b), and that the City may reject for good cause, all bids after finding that doing so is in the public interest. City reserves the right to waive minor informalities in any bid. Engineer's Estimate ($700,000 to $1,000,000) *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
