Renovation of a municipal facility in Manassas, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Manassas is soliciting bids to upgrade five (5) Caterpillar Generator Controls and Switchgears; three (3) are located at 8885 Church Street and two (2) are located at 10453 Wakeman Drive. SCOPE OF SERVICES Work: The Contractor shall provide all the necessary parts, labor, equipment and all miscellaneous materials to upgrade five (5) Caterpillar Generator Controls and Switchgears to the latest version of the Woodward Easygen System. The City will ONLY accept bids on the Woodward Easygen System. The cabinets will be completely stripped of components and the swing panels within them will be removed. All new components will be mounted and wired in the cabinets. The generators will also be rewired. New engine sensors and wiring harnesses will be installed on the engines. New voltage regulator will be installed and tuned with the Easygen. 1. The Scope of Work for the Church Street facility shall include but not be limited to the following: Upgrade three (3) 480V Caterpillar Generators, Generator Controls, Switchgear and SCADA interface support at the Church Street site. The existing PLCs will be removed and all functions will be integrated with the Easygens XT line, latest edition. Synchronization and control of the generator circuit breaker will be rewired to the new Easygens. Door components no longer needed will be covered with brushed stainless panels.
