The Springville City WRF is located at 700 North 500 West in Springville City, Utah 84663. The plant is owned and operated by Springville City. The plant receives and treats domestic, commercial, and industrial wastewater generated within the City's collection system. The plant produces secondary disinfected water that is discharged into a stream that runs adjacent to the WRF site. The existing WRF includes influent screening, grit removal, trickling filters, STM Aerotor basins, secondary clarification, tertiary filtration, UV disinfection, and related solids handling/digestion facilities. The upgrades associated with this RFP include replacing screening and screenings washing/compacting equipment in the existing headworks building. The existing building and channels will house new headworks equipment. Due to the nature of the existing channels, the City is seeking equipment that requires little or no modification of the channel structure. The intent of this proposal is to obtain competitive pricing from qualified vendors for furnishing and delivery of the following pieces of equipment to meet specifications herein: o Item #1 - Two (2) 6 MM Influent Screens o Item #2 - Two (2) Screenings Washing/Compacting Units Suppliers must submit on both items to be considered as the City intends to award both screens and washer/compactors to the same supplier. Nothing herein is intended to exclude any responsible firm or in any way restrain or restrict competition. On the contrary, all responsible firms are encouraged to submit proposals. The OWNER reserves the right to award in part or in whole or to reject any or all proposals.
