The Corporation of the City of Stratford, Social Services Housing Division, seeks proposals for the design, construction and/or renovation of full interior and some exterior finishes on the shell of the city-owned building located at 246 Railway Avenue. The building will be utilized as affordable housing, to be managed by the Social Services department, Housing Division of the City of Stratford as part of the City's social housing portfolio. To design and renovate 246 Railway Avenue into a complete 2-bedroom house including all interior finishes, plumbing, electrical, windows and doors, bathroom and kitchen fit ups. The unit is to be created to accessibility standards, including the front entry being fitted with a ramp to transition through the approximately 3-inch grade change. The removal of the rear vestigial wall and the addition of a chain link fence dividing the property from the well head are to be included in the quote. The connections at the property line to water and sewage are to be included in the quote.
