Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Blackstone, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility; and for site work for a military facility.
The general work description of the project can be generally described as: Multi discipline construction work to finish a laundry facility at Fort Barfoot. Work will consist of, but is not limited to, building water and Sewer connections, HVAC installation, plumbing installation, electrical connections, painting, and carpentry work. Each attendee may represent only one bidder. Each attendee shall legibly sign in and provide accurate contract information including a working email address for distribution of future communications regarding the project. All parties must present valid government approved identification when arriving on Fort Barfoot and should allow extra time accordingly. Attendance shall be mandatory for those submitting a bid. This will be the only scheduled time for prospective contractors to review the work areas prior to the bid submission date. Subcontractors, suppliers, and other interested parties are encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference. Questions will be due NLT 4:00PM on January 22, 2025 by email to thomas.d.shell.nfg@army.mil Addendum Number 1 (one) will be issued by COB January 24, 2025 Time for Completion is 90 calendar days to Substantial completion. Final Completion shall be within 30 days after the date of Substantial completion. A Bid Bond is required. The contractor, shall however, provide certificate of builder's risk insurance equal to the value of the contract plus any change orders.
