Potable Water Supply Plant Operation and Monitoring Services - DTF/Blackstone Purpose: The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit sealed bids from a qualified Operator /Administer Potable Water Supply Contractor to enter into a term contract to provide State Inspected Potable Water Supply Plant Operation and Monitoring Services at Virginia State Police (VSP) Driver Training Facility, 1875 Ridge Road, Blackstone, VA 23824. The successful Contractor shall provide all necessary shop, labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, supplies and incidentals to complete the required services. Term of Contract: Upon award / one year renewable; refer to paragraph # 5 under V. Special Terms and Conditions for renewal information. Contract Administrator (CA): Lt Jason Crowder at 434-298-3402 Contractor shall provide all shop, qualified labor, materials, equipment, and supervision sufficient to Operate/Administer State-Inspected Potable Water Supply Plant Operation and Monitoring Service in accordance with all Federal, State and local requirements. Period Of Contract: From DATE OF AWARD through 1 year/12 months (*Renewable), anticipated start date 03/01/2025. Due to the importance of all bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications/scope of work and requirements of this solicitation, attendance at this conference will be a prerequisite for submitting a bid. Bids will only be accepted from those bidders who are represented at this pre-bid conference. Attendance at the conference will be evidenced by the representative's signature on the attendance roster. The Commonwealth further reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Commonwealth that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein. The Commonwealth will make the award(s) on a Grand Total basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The purchasing office reserves the right to conduct any test it may deem advisable and to make all evaluations. The Commonwealth also reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive informalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of the procuring public body to be in its best interest.
