The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to establish a contract for our District generators at each building as specified. The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to establish a contract for our District generators at each building as specified. This contract will last for three years and the terms of these contracts may be extended for two additional years if all parties agree to the terms and conditions of the original contract. The successful contractor will provide a maintenance program as specified for the district generators as listed and will maintain the equipment in good working order. Contracted technicians will perform all preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the guidelines issued by the manufacturer. This program is to include the manufacturer's requirement of each type of generator to properly maintain and service all of the district generators. All work will be performed during normal working hours unless otherwise stated. The awarded contractor will provide a written report/email to the Maintenance Director on findings, corrective actions, and recommendations following each visit. Pre-Bid Meeting Details: Prior to bid submission, contractors are not required to visit the facilities at the Wentzville School District. In order to make a complete survey of the systems specified and gather any information not included in this specification that may be necessary for the contractor to submit an accurate and true proposal that fulfills the requirements set forth in this document, the contractor may contact the Maintenance Director to set up a pre-bid site visit.
