Renovation of a municipal facility in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 14,466-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: the work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition ofapproximately 2,533 square feet of existing floor and ceiling finishes, casework and non-bearingpartitions. Installation of temporary partitions, as required, to secure the work area and to protect thebuilding occupants. Construction of new non-bearing partitions and finishes including LVT, carpettiles, suspended ceiling system and paint finishes. Plumbing work will include construc tion of twonew barrier-free lavatories. Electric work to included new sub-panel, receptacles and switches, wiring,light fixtures and modification, as required, to fire alarm and security system as well asinstallation of CAT 6 cabling for IT systems. Mechanical work will include coordination with the City'svendor who will supply and install new HVAC equipment within and above the new ceiling system.Alternate work, if selected by the Governing Body, relates to improvements to the existing CouncilChambers and will include, but not limited to, minor selective demolition of finishes, construction of anew dais and counters, new millwork at counters, dais rail, and walls as well as new floor andceiling systems.
