Reference Number: 0000371826 Foothills Regional Housing is looking for proposals from qualified contactors to abate and demo 7 buildings on the NW corner of Miller st & Ridge Rd in Wheat Ridge. Buildings have been vacant for an extended period of time and have deteriated or failed roof in some areas. The Authority owns and maintains the following property: 10285 Ridge Rd, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 Project Description: The Authority intends to employ a GC firm that shall provide all professional services as defined herein, and SOW as described above. Work may include but is not limited to design program review, planning, design review, scheduling, cost estimating, life-cycle cost-engineering, value-engineering, constructability reviews, construction sequencing options and the GC will also serve as general contractor for the project, at-risk. This section summarizes the scope of work under this RFP ("Scope of Work"), which is described in greater detail below and in the Contract Documents and Exhibits. The Scope of Work shall include the design, furnishing and installation of a variety of upgrades, which include: Abatement: Abatement will consist of foundation coatings, rolled vinyl flooring, mastic, sink coating, Transite siding & facia board and sealant on pipe wrapping. The site does not have running water, or electricity so a water mule or truck and generator will be needed. The roofing has failed in multiple areas and will require creative approaches for containment. Since the buildings have been sitting for a prolonged period of time, a large amount of debris haul away will need to be done prior to any abatement commencing. LBP/ACM report will be Exhibit 1 for the RFP Demolition: Demolition will consist of 7 brick veneer buildings with interior CMU support walls. All exterior concrete flatwork and loading dock structures will be included in the scope of work. The foundation walls do have ACM coatings, so they will need to be handled in the appropriate manner. Restoration: The Site should be cleaned, graded, and restored in preparation for future residential and commercial development. This shall include, but is not limited to all required: labor, fabrication, engineering, submittals, and shop drawings, materials, equipment and tools, supervision, hoisting, scaffolding, and transportation as required ways for complete removal.
