**As of March 26th, 2025, the project was awarded to YESKE CONST. CO., with an awarded amount of $2,186,754.35.** The City of Janesville, Wisconsin hereby gives notice that it will receive electronic bids for the following listed Public Work: Curb & Gutter and Sidewalk Replacement - For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and doing all the work necessary for the construction and completion of approximately 38,100 LF curb & gutter replacement; 85,600 SF sidewalk, curb ramp and driveway approach replacement; 612 SY full depth concrete street pavement patching and grass terrace restoration. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. If applicable, Federal Davis Bacon wage rates are included in the Contract Documents, as well as on file in the City Clerk's Office. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
