Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Artesia, New Mexico. Working plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of August 18, 2025, per the owner, they have cancelled the bid until further notice. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% will be required, payable to Eddy County, if project is greater than $60,000. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of his total contract. Bidders shall submit questions in writing, to Tanya Lopez, Procurement Administrator, Eddy County, tlopez@co.eddy.nm.us The Work to be performed under this Contract shall be commenced not later than ten (10) consecutive days after the date of written Notice to Proceed, and that Substantial Completion shall be achieved not later than 270 days calendar days after the date of written Notice to Proceed * Five hundred Dollars ($500.00) per consecutive calendar day, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages for such breach of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or portions thereof, and waive any irregularities.
