Security and Environmental Monitoring and Maintenance services located at the Department of Justice (DOJ), Bureau of Forensic Services (BFS) Richmond Jan Bashinski DNA Laboratory. The California Department of Justice (DOJ) is soliciting bids from firms that can provide Security and Environmental Monitoring and Maintenance services for the DOJ - Bureau of Forensic Services (BFS). Bids must address all the services described in section G of this Invitation for Bid (IFB), entitled "Statement of Work", including those terms in the referenced exhibits. The DOJ intends to make a single agreement award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid. This IFB is open to all eligible firms and/or individuals that meet the qualification requirements. The term of the resulting agreement is expected to be for two (2) years and is anticipated to be effective from Saturday, February 01, 2025 through Sunday, January 31, 2027, with the option to extend the term at the discretion of the DOJ and upon approval, if required, from the California Department of General Services (DGS). The agreement term may change if the DOJ makes an award earlier than expected or if the DOJ cannot execute the agreement by the anticipated start date due to unforeseen delays. The DOJ reserves the right to extend the term of the resulting agreement as necessary to complete the services needed by the DOJ. Agreement extensions are subject to satisfactory performance by the Contractor, funding availability, and possibly approval by the DGS.
