RCW 28A.335.190, which is commonly known as the Public School Bid Law, and RCW 39.04.155, commonly known as the Small Works Roster Procedures, requires school districts to es-tablish a Small Works Roster of qualified contractors wishing to receive bidding information and to be considered for performing work on Public Works Project. In compliance with this revision and District Policy, applications are now being accepted at the Business office of the Grandview School District No. 200 from Contractors wishing to be placed on the District's Small Works Roster for the period of January 2025 through December 2025. Qualified general contractors wishing to be considered for building, improvement, repair, or other public works projects estimated to cost up to $350,000 are encouraged to submit applications. In order for contractors to qualify, the following requirements must be met. 1. Hold a Washington State Contractor's License. 2. Pay prevailing wage rates in compliance with RCW 39.12. 3. Public Works training as required in RCW 39.04.350 and RCW 39.06.20 4. Provide Certificate of Insurance prior to beginning any work. 5. Provide a Performance & Payment Bond in compliance with RCW 39.08 prior to beginning any work over $2,500. 6. Comply with federal, state, and local laws regarding non-discrimination and affirmative action. Minority contractors are particularly encouraged to apply.
