The City of Grandview invites separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the Butternut Well Rehabilitation, including the following approximate major quantities of work: This project consists of rehabilitating the City's Butternut Well, including removing and inspecting the existing well pump, performing initial video inspection, performing an initial step-rate test, cleaning the well physically and chemically, performing final video inspection, performing final step-rate test, and installation of new well pump. This contract has twenty-five (25) working days to complete the work. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bond or a certified check, payable to the order of the Treasurer of the City of Grandview for the sum of not less than 5% of said bid or proposal and none will be considered unless accompanied by such deposit, to be forfeited to the City of Grandview in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a Contract with the City for the making and construction of the aforesaid improvement.
