HLA Project No. 23192-B The project involves the construction of the E. Elm Street Transmission Main Improvements. The work includes installation of 1,250 linear feet of 16-inch C900 PVC water main, 70 linear feet of 8-inch C900 PVC water main, valves, fire hydrant assemblies, and the reconstruction of E. Elm Street including placement of 650 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), 1,300 tons of Crushed Surfacing Base Course (CSBC), 600 tons of Crushed Surfacing Top Course (CSTC), and 1,200 cubic yards of unclassified excavation. The contract duration is fifty (50) working days to complete all work. Each bid must be accompanied by a bond or certified check in an amount not less than 5% of the bid, as security. Bids must be submitted in writing, on the prescribed forms, sealed, and filed before the stated deadline. The project requires payment of not less than minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents and is subject to prevailing state wage rates. All Department of Health requirements for the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund must be met. Contractors must be licensed to conduct business in Washington State.
