Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of March 14, 2025, project was awarded to Integrated Trail LAB but awarded amount is not available. 8th Street Purpose Built/Bike Optimized Trail Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals. Trail will be located on Bureau of Land Management and Highland Livestock and Land properties west of upper 8th Street Road, and east of Bob's Trail #30 in the Boise Foothills. Terrain is rolling hillside and vegetation is sage/bitterbrush/grass mix. There is not a lot of rock on-site. Estimated trail length at 4 - 6% is 1.7 miles with a fall of approximately 420 feet. Design and construction methods should utilize best management practices and approved design/construction standards to provide a sustainable trail outcome. Trail will be constructed at 48" wide full bench on average and all features will be constructed of dirt or rock (collected on-site or imported). Construction Component Trail to be constructed utilizing best management practices that will ensure ability to maintain in the future without the use of water. Water is not available for construction in this location, so any water must be brought in from off-site. Contractor to provide all drawings pertaining to constructed features and trail tread. All tread to be constructed at full bench Question Submission Close Date 2/12/2025 5:00 PM MST
