Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Hamilton's stadium artificial turf field is a multi-sport field with football and soccer being the primary sporting events. The Successful Bidder is to adhere to the Canadian Football League, and Canadian Premier League rules or regulations regarding field lining and decorative painting logos. The Successful Bidder shall paint all appropriate lines of play and logos as required utilizing a commercial airless paint lining machine and necessary tools for the following event types: a. Canadian Football League (CFL) games (expected ten (10) games) b. Soccer games (expected fourteen (14) games) c. Other sporting events The athletic field marking paint must be a high quality removable athletic field marking paint. The field dimensions are included as part of Appendix A - Playing Field Dimensions. While applying the paint the Successful Bidder shall be careful to not over apply paint on the infill of the artificial turf to avoid causing poor drainage and increased turf hardness. All field marking templates shall be supplied by the Successful Bidder and any costs associated with manufacturing, maintaining or replacing templates will be included in the Unit Prices bid. The Successful Bidder shall be capable of removing/extracting any paint applied to the field in accordance with most recent industry standards. Any specialized removal extraction equipment and materials involved in this process is the responsibility of the Successful Bidder. Upon annual completion of marking requirements at the City of Hamilton's stadium, the Successful Bidder shall complete a deep extraction of the infill, and where required, address any infill displacement/impaction.
