Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a clubhouse / community center; library; and restaurant.
Repurposing of the former Canadian Marine Discovery Centre as part of the West Harbour and waterfront redevelopment. Proposed scope to include: a new library branch, Indigenous gathering space, cultural heritage exhibition space, cafe, and visitor amenities. This future multi-role facility would be located in the previously purpose built Parks Canada interpretation centre, located at 77 Harbourside Way at Hamilton's Pier 8. TIMELINE: The Consultant was retained to complete a Design and Development Study, which is underway. Solicitation of public feedback to be ongoing. Final report to be presented to Council in 2027 for review. Further update may be confirmed late summer 2026.
