Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Sheldon, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Major Items of Bid Sanitary Sewer Main Lining Sanitary Manhole Lining Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement Lift Station Upgrade - Pumps and Electrical Control Building Repairs Valve Vault Pipe & Valve Replacement Concrete Replacements UV Disinfection System Enclosed Blowers Air Manifold Piping Flow Meters and Samplers Electrical Erosion Control Site Restoration Pulverizing and Asphalt Paving The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following: Morgan & Parmley, Ltd., Ladysmith, Wisconsin. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Letting is subject to Section 62.15(1) and Section 66.0901, Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, an amount to secure the bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders, in accordance with bidding requirements set forth in Wis. Stats. 62.15(3). The Contract shall be subject to Section 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes pertaining to prevailing wage scales and Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract in accordance with federal labor standards (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts [DBRA]), Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act domestic procurement, Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 Section 3 (24 CFR 75), Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. The "American Iron and Steel" requirements must be met. We encourage Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women Business Enterprises (WBEs), to submit bid proposals. This project is being funded in part by the WI DNR EIF CWF Program and Community Development Block Grant for Public Facilities (CDBG-PF). No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual day of the opening thereof. The Contractor shall include a telephone number and e-mail address when requesting plans.
