Renovation of a municipal facility in Santa Rosa, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The City of Santa Rosa is seeking bids for a contract to provide office furniture coordination, delivery, installation and relocation services. • Office furniture requiring on site assembly is defined as Public Works and requires prevailing wage. o Typical Public Works installations with the City of Santa Rosa include: alterations to systems furniture, ergonomic accessories, height adjustable tables and private office furniture requiring assembly or wall mount. • Must have minimum five years of experience assembling Haworth Places, Haworth Unigroup, height adjustable tables, freestanding desks assembly, wall mounted overhead cabinets assembly. • A minimum 16-foot enclosed box truck with a lift gate is required to transport office furniture. • Must have a warehouse to occasionally receive small office furniture orders. • Some Police and Fire facilities will require a background check and fingerprinting of any outside services performing work in these sensitive buildings. • If the City contact receives a call that a part was not installed correctly, contractor must return within one business day of notification to correct the issue. • An awarded contract does not guarantee a sole source for office furniture installations, deliveries and relocation services. The City may contract and/or request bids for these services with other office furniture businesses. • The City of Santa Rosa may require moving services or delivery of pre-assembled furniture, prevailing wage is not required for these services. Typical relocations are 1 – 15 employees relocating boxed items, file/storage cabinets and other small items from one City building to another within the City of Santa Rosa city limits.
