Bid Bond: For all proposals in the amount of $50,000 or more: 1. Security may be a certified check, bank draft, irrevocable bank letter or credit or surety bond in the amount of 5% of the project price to secure the District from loss or damage by reason of withdrawal or by failure of the bidder to enter into a contract if the bid is accepted. 2.
