Site work and renovation of a civil project in Springfield, Oregon. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of November 18, 2025, a Construction Manager at Risk has been selected. Information regarding subcontract bidding opportunities has not been disclosed. Interested subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged to reach out to Slayden Construction directly for instructions. A firm timeline to construction start has not been announced. Original RFP below for reference: The CMGC (CMAR) Contract will include the following services and Work: Procurement for and construction of a new municipal water supply system including an intake pump station on the McKenzie River, pipelines, a membrane filtration water treatment plant, finished water storage and pumping. System capacity shall be 15 mgd for Phase 1 and 23.2 mgd for ultimate buildout condition. Services during pre-construction may include review and comment on design deliverables, scheduling, cost estimating, risk management, planning of in-water construction work, value engineering, and others. Owner anticipates that the CMGC (CMAR)'s Contract Price will be approximately $100,000 for pre-construction. The CMGC (CMAR) Contract has an expected start date of June 2025 for preconstruction and March 2027 for construction and duration for construction of 915 days. The Proposal Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. All prospective Proposers are urged to register with the designated website as an interested party, even if the Proposer has obtained the Proposal Documents from a source other than the designated website. Neither Owner, Owner's Advisor, nor Engineer will be responsible for Proposal Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the www.subutil.com/business-center/bids-proposals. Two-Step Process Selection of the Construction Manager General Contractor (Construction Manager at Risk) will be made using a two-step process. Step One: Owner will receive Statements of Qualification and evaluate these, along with other information, to develop a list of the most highly qualified Proposers. Step Two: The most highly qualified Proposers will receive a Request for Proposals and will submit a detailed Proposal for the CMGC (CMAR) Contract for the Owner's consideration. The Proposal and the previously-submitted Statement of Qualifications will be used together to determine the final ranking of Proposers for award of the CMGC (CMAR) Contract. Details regarding the selection criteria and the selection process are included in the Request for Qualifications.
