Renovation of a municipal facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The scope of this project includes the complete removal and disposal of all existing hard surfaces on the podium, sidewalk, and driveway at the entrance of the John G. Diefenbaker Building. This will be followed by the removal and replacement of the waterproofing membrane beneath the podium, which is critical to addressing water infiltration issues affecting the parking garage below. Additionally, the project will resolve drainage and sloping problems on the podium to prevent further water retention and direct water away from the building envelope. Finally, new, durable hard surfaces will be installed on the podium, walkway, and driveway, restoring both functionality and aesthetic integrity to these key exterior areas.
