**As of March 14, 2025 , This project has been awarded to Griffin Grading & Concrete in the amount of $957,932.50..** PROJECT that will consist of various construction items including, placing aggregate surface course, placing, triple surface treatment stone size 5, 7, & 89, placing Cement Stabilized Base Course, Type C turf establishment, and restriping on 6 various County Roads. It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to perform an onsite visit to become familiar with the proposed project and to become familiar with all the project requirements, Fiscal Year 2021 GDOT STANDARD AND SPECIFICATIONS, GDOT STANDARDS AND DETAILS, AND CURRENT EDITION OF THE M.U.T.C.D. to ensure that everything is provided as called for in the project. Construction, General: Backfill Services, Digging, Ditching, Road Grading, Rock Stabilization, etc. Paving and Resurfacing, Highway and Road Construction, Highway and Road All questions should be Emailed to Barry L. Wood, WSP USA, INC. @ barry.wood@wsp.com Question Deadline 02/03/2025 Inspection of the Work: The contractor must provide access to the work for inspection by representatives of County as per Section 105.11. County has contracted with WSP USA to perform inspection and testing sendees. The contractor must contact Project Engineer, Dale Brantley (478) 290-2530, or his representative (Barry L. Wood) (478) 206-0291, at least 48 hours prior to beginning construction.
