Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marion, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The general nature of the work on which bids are requested is: 1000 tons of subbase, 6250 SY of PCC Pavement, Granular Shouldering and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances in accordance with the contract documents. Work shall commence no earlier than May 26th, 2025, and be completed by August 15th, 2025. Liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day will be assessed for work not completed within this time. The City does hereby reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. Engineer's Estimate: $460,000
