Law and Justice Center Replacement Uninterrupted Power Supply System The County of McLean, a body corporate and politic, will accept sealed bids from qualified vendors to perform a replacement of an existing U.P.S. system at the Mclean County Law and Justice Center located at 104 West Front Street, Bloomington, IL. RFP Process Questions Mr. Anthony Grant, McLean County Assistant Administrator Telephone: (309) 888-5110 e-mail: Anthony.Grant@mcleancountyil.gov Content and Technical Specifications Mr. Scott Fogler, McLean County Facilities Department Project Manager Telephone: (309) 641-3125 e-mail: Scott.Fogler@mcleancountyil.gov The project consists ofthe replacement ofthe existing UPS that serves the data room of the Law and Justice Center. Provide new UPS installed, complete, tested, and ready for operation. Perform the following work: Disconnect existing UPS in penthouse mechanical room, remove from site, and dispose of batteries. Install new 35 kVA, 208V. 3-phase UPS, batteries, maintenance bypass switch and related components in same location. Reconnect new UPS to existing feeder. Connect UPS output to existing feeder serving data room panel. Install remote alarm/monitoring panel in existing data room. Install emergency power offswitch in penthouse where directed by Owner. Coordinate power outage with Owner. Shutdown and change over to new UPS will need to be performed after normal business hours, or on a weekend. Submit product data to Owner for review and approval prior to beginning ofwork. All work shall conform to the attached specifications. All work shall conform to the National Electrical Code. Contractor shall include all costs for fees, permits and inspections. Electrical contractor will provide a one (1) year warranty on all materials and workmanship from date ofsubstantial completion. Extended material warranties will be required per the technical specification sections. Project closeout shall include creation of operation and maintenance manuals, equipment acceptance testing and owner training. All other specifications called out on the engineering documents attached to this RFP. Installation is to be conducted in way to minimize power down time. Question Deadline 01/29/2025 at 4:00 PM CT Questions will be entertained after this presubmission conference . If any answer is given at the pre-submission conference or during the question time period that materially affects this R.F.P., the information will be incorporated into an addendum and provided to all potential submitters ofrecord. Oral comments do not form a part ofthis R.F.P.
