Community High School District 128 is accepting sealed bids for Asphalt Repaving at Vernon Hills High School Stadium (approx. 5,000 square yards parking lot repaving, approx. 9,400 square yards of pathway repaving, and associated sitework concrete.) An add alternate is included for concrete sidewalk replacement (approx. 1,700 square feet) at Libertyville High School. Bidders must attend the meeting in order to familiarize themselves with the project, which will be attended by both the Owner and the Consultant. It is the responsibility of the Bidder/Contractor to attend and signed in. Failure to attend and be included on the official list of attendees shall result in the rejection of any bids submitted by those non-attending Contractors. The company name registered at sign-in must be the same as that of the company submitting the quotations. This will be the only time that the Contractors shall be allowed escorted access to the project sites. Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid shall be submitted with the bid. Performance, labor and material payment bonds and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful Bidder. The Board of Education, Community High School District 128, reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the School District.
