It is the intent of the College of Lake County (CLC) to enter into an Agreement with a Contractor to procure and install an exterior roof access ladder, platform, electric hoist, HVAC barrier access door, and all associated, unnamed parts and materials to the rooftop units of the R-Building at Southlake Campus. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check made payable to the College of Lake County for not less than ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount. BEP participation goal of 30% Should the bidder require additional information about this bid, please submit questions via email to:bids@clcillinois.edu. Questions are required no later than 4:00 P.M. CST on April 14, 2025. All responses will be posted on the College website by 4:00 P.M. CST on April 15, 2025. The College recognizes that in some cases the information conveyed in this IFB may provide an insufficient basis for performing a complete analysis of the IFB requirements. Prospective bidders are therefore requested to make the best possible use of the information provided, without the expectation that the College will be able to answer every request for further information, or that the schedule for receipt and evaluation of bids will be modified to accommodate such request. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of (90) ninety days after the closing date without the consent of the College. A performance bond satisfactory to the College, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Illinois, in an amount equal to 100 percent(100%) of the purchase order issued by the College as security for the faithful performance of the College's contract; and A payment bond satisfactory to the College, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Illinois, for the protection of all persons supplying labor and materials to the Contractor or Subcontractors for the performance of work provided for in the contract, in an amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the purchase order issued by the College.
