This project includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: hot-mix asphalt pavement milling and repaving, hot-mix asphalt pavement and aggregate base course patching, driveway removal and replacement, site restoration and other associated improvements as specified in the contract documents. State of Illinois, Department of Transportation, Contractor Pre-Qualification and Subcontractor Pre-Qualification/Registration is required. This work is subject to the wage provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. 820 ILCS 130/0/01 et seq. and the Illinois Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Projects Act. 820 ILCS 265/1 et seq relative to prevailing wages of laborers, mechanics, and other workers employed in any Public Works as amended by Public Acts 86799 and 86693. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, Bank Cashier's Check or Certified Check in the amount of FIVE (5) percent of the total bid amount made payable to the Village of Long Grove shall accompany the bid. This project includes two bid schedules, one base bid and one alternate bid; all bidder s shall complete both schedules. The Villages of Long Grove and Kildeer and Ela Township reserve the right to reject any and all bids and bidders and to waive all technicalities.
