BIDS Community High School District 128 is accepting sealed bids for the 2025 Pool Enclosure and Mechanical Upgrades at Vernon Hills High School located in Vernon Hills, Illinois The project will consist of multiple Prime Bid Packages to include removal and replacement of an existing dehumidification unit in the pool mechanical room with associated masonry, roofing, architectural sheet metal and general trades; structural steel and applied high performance coatings and sealants. Bids received after designated time and date of bid opening shall not be considered. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid shall be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful Bidder. All Bidders must comply with Illinois Revised Statutes, 1981, Chapter 48, Section 39s-1 through 39s-12, requiring the payment of prevailing wage rates to all laborers, workmen and mechanics working on publicly-funded projects. Event pre bid meeting description: Failure to attend and sign-in at the pre-bid conference shall result in the rejection of any bids submitted by those non-attending Contractors. The company name registered at sign-in must be the same as that of the company submitting the quotations. At the conclusion of the Pre bid meeting, Bidders will be escorted across the street to Vernon Hills High School with full access to the project site(s).
