Sealed bids will be received for the 2026 ADA Concrete Improvements by the Vernon Hills Park District. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope clearly marked "Sealed Bid - 2026 ADA Concrete Improvements" and delivered to the specified Park District address. Bid documents may be obtained from the Park District website. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the specified location and time, with an opportunity to review specifications and discuss concerns, but attendance is not mandatory. The District reserves the right to waive technicalities, accept or reject any or all bids, and accept portions of a bid. The contract will be awarded to the lowest most responsible and responsive bidder, as determined by the Owner, who may evaluate the bidder's experience, labor capacity, financial capability, and performance on other projects. The work is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bids must include a cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Vernon Hills Park District for ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. The contractor will also be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and executive orders, including those regarding equal employment opportunity.
