**As of March 15, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 13, 2021 County Board Meeting. Project consists of replacement of 8", 10", and 12" DIP water main with 8" C900 DR18 PVC and 8" C900 DR14 PVC by both of open-cuts and horizontal directional drilling. Additionally, the project consists of direct connections to buildings as well. The total length of the water main to be replaced is approximately 2,065 lineal feet. Plan to Mitigate COVID-19 Risk During Site Visits Project: Hawthorn Hills Square Watermain Replacement Project #: PW2020.033 Bid #: 20194 Site Visits (mechanical/sprinkler rooms): 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on February 8, 2021 1. Each prospective bidder is limited to a maximum of two representatives. 2. Masks are required at all times when outside of a vehicle. 3. All people on site shall maintain a 6-foot distance from each other. 4. Each prospective bidder will have 15 minutes in each mechanical/sprinker room. A COVID-19 questionnaire will be e-mailed to each prospective bidder when they wish for the site visit. The completed questionnaire is to be e-mailed to Ying Miao (ymiao@lakecountyil.gov) by 7:00 AM February 8. 6. No appointment is needed for visiting outside of the mall building. 7. LCPW personnel will not attend the site visit due to the COVID 19. 8. LCPW personnel and Mall Management cannot answer any questions from the contractor or provide any information related to the project. 9. Contractor can ask questions at the Pre-bid Meeting or can submit questions to Lake County Purchasing as noted in Article 7 of the Instructions to Bidders.
