As of March 28, 2025, construction is underway and will be complete August 2025. Project Location Mattawan Consolidated Schools High School and Middle School Scopes of Work Bidding 26.100 Electrical & Low Voltage AVB Construction, LLC is preparing to upgrade the fire alarm systems in the high school and the middle school for Mattawan Consolidated Schools. Commencement of construction will be stated in a future addendum. AVB is performing multiple projects at Mattawan Consolidated Schools over the next 2 years. All bidders must supply a bid bond. Payment of a minimum of the prevailing wage rate is a requirement of this project. Refer to the CM for an updated wage rate scale. Each bid submitted shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the board or the superintendent of the school district. Each bid submitted shall include an affidavit certifying that contractor is not barred from public contracting due to bid rigging or bid rotating convictions. Each bid submitted shall be accompanied by bid security in the amount of not less than 5% of the amount of the bid. By submitting a bid, each bidder shall be deemed to have certified that it is not an "Iran-Linked Business" as defined in Act 517, Public Acts of Michigan, 2001, MCL 129.311, et seq.
