Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Blakely, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The changes are that we extended the due date for an additional 7 days per our engineer, a bid bond, payment bond and performance bond are added as a requirement. Project Locations: Tennis Courts located on Westview Dr. PROJECT (A) NEW 20 x 20 FREE STANDING ADA COMPLIANT RESTROOM FACILITY LOCATED AT TENNIS COURTS ON WESTVIEW DRIVE WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS: Demolition of existing concrete building slab and in-floor plumbing drains / water lines. Dispose of debris in approved manner. 20wide x 20 long x 10 eave x 1:12 roof pitch, pre-engineered steel structure, all walls to remain fully open to eave, additional 2 overhang around full perimeter, 26-gauge galvalume roof panels with PBR leg, die formed ridge caps, stainless steel encapsulated roof sealing fasteners, tape mastic, standard 3 V/R reinforced roof insulation in white finish with bird mesh in roof exclusive of 2 overhang, and all necessary trim. No gutters. Portal frames to be used in lieu of cable bracing in walls. Building to meet current building code requirements for Blakely / Early County, GA. Complete engineered, steel reinforced, foundation for the above structure. Foundation to include footings as required for construction of block restrooms and mechanical / storage rooms. Foundation to slope, beginning at the exterior of the south restroom walls, as required to allow rainwater to drain off slab to south toward street. o Supply ADA compliant concrete ramp on south end from street level. Construct two (2) 5 x 5 inside dimensions ADA compliant restrooms with mechanical / utility room in between the two. Restrooms and mechanical room to be located on the north end of the structure with doors facing south towards Westview Drive. For detailed specifics please contact Melinda Crook at melinda.crook@cityofblakely.org or Lane Davis at lane.davis@cityofblakely.org Construct one (1) completely new ADA accessible restroom facility building. o Restrooms and mechanical / utility room to be constructed from standard 8 x 16 masonry block and tied to foundation with steel rebar every 4th cell or as allowed by current building code requirements. o Every 4th cell filled with concrete mortar to second course from top of wall or as required by current building code requirements. Remaining cells, in exterior walls, to be filled with appropriate insulation materials to top of wall. o Block walls to terminate just below roof insulation and be flashed back to insulation with 24 ga. Prefinished steel trim as necessary. o Standard 3/0 x 6/8 steel framed, flush steel doors with appropriate hardware to meet ADA standards. o Paint PPG Prominent Paints: Interior: 1- coat appropriate sealing primer. 2-coats semi-gloss finish for washdown cleaning in white color. Exterior: 1-coat appropriate sealing primer. 2-costs semi-gloss finish in color of customers choice. o Plumbing - By Georgia Licensed Plumber Fixtures - Kohler or equal to meet ADA standards on toilets and lavatory's. Water heater (1) - electric tankless located in mechanical room Water supply - tap into existing line / meter to be located by City of Blakely on Westview Drive Sewer - tie into existing to be located by City of Blakely on Westview Drive Floor drain in each restroom and mechanical / utility room. All installed to local and State code requirements o Electrical - By Georgia Licensed Electrician 100A service by City of Blakely to Code. 120/240-volt single phase breaker panel located in mechanical / utility room. One (1) wall mounted, through-the-wall, exhaust fan in each restroom. One (1) ceiling mounted LED light fixture in each restroom and mechanical / utility room with motion switch controls. Wire in electric water heater (supply and install) All installed to meet or exceed local and NEC, codes and requirements. o 20' x 13'-8" Open Free Area Under Shelter South of Restrooms o Electrical Four (4) each 4' all-weather LED fixtures mounted to bottom leg of sub-structural roof purlin. Set on photocell for dusk to dawn operation. One (1) exterior mounted LED fixture mounted on exterior of building to illuminate ADA ramp coming from street level. Set on photocell for dusk to dawn operation.
