Site work and paving for a road / highway in Blakely, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Blakely (COB) is requesting sealed bid proposals from qualified contractors for the paving of streets as specified in the attached project scope. Work will include surface preparation, asphalt paving, and any associated work needed to complete the project to city and industry standards. Work Milling and surface preparation Asphalt paving/leveling to specified thickness and width Installation of traffic control measures during work Clean-up and proper disposal of debris Compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations COB will Clean up and Remove clippings after paving is complete Final adjustment of manholes and water valves will be responsibility of COB Contractor shall mark manholes and water valves manually and with GPS This contract excludes any permanent pavement markings Specific streets and lengths are listed in Attachment A. Anticipated Notice to Proceed: June 30, 2025 Project Completion Deadline: October 3, 2025 The COB reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award the bid in the best interest of the City.
