The Project consists of construction of +/- 18 vertical feet ofmanhole construction, +/- 680 linear feet of 15" storm drain piping, +/- 1 pond outlet structure,along with clearing & grubbing and all other items indicated in the Contract Documents. Bids submitted via mail shall be mailed to the City of Blakely at the Blakely City Hall - 82 CourtSquare, P.O. Box 350, Blakely, GA 39823.Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis,as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Still Waters Engineering, 130 Veterinary Way -Unit 2, Leesburg, GA 31763, 229-496-5700.Prospective Bidders may examine the BiddingDocuments at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30 AM - 5:00P.M, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.Bidding Documents also may be examined at Blakely's City Hall; during the City's regular businesshours. The date that the BiddingDocuments are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date ofreceipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from theIssuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of BiddingDocuments, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidswill not be accepted from prospective bidders not on record with the Issuing Office as havingpurchased and received a complete set of Bidding Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.If awarded theContract the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond,each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount.Bonds must beprovided by sureties appearing on the U.S. Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listingand be licensed in the State of Georgia.All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to thedate of full contract execution and notice to proceed.Acquisition of property for easements and/or right of way is not expected to be required for thisproject.
