The Commissioners' Court of Hood County, the OWNER, is seeking proposals from highly qualified, experienced, and responsible firms to perform Paving, Drainage & Grading Improvements at the Hood County Acton Annex. 1. Location: Hood County Acton Annex located in unincorporated Hood County at 5417 Acton Hwy (FM Hwy 4), Granbury, TX 76049, legally described as: Acres 1.907, Subd Enchanted Village PH 1, Tract C3, Willowbrook Shopping Center. 2. Area: Project is located along the East and South sides of the 1.907 acres described above. 3. Project: The project is separated into two parts. Part 1:The retaining wall, drainage line, and other improvements on the east side of the property, and Part 2:The new storm line from the grate in the parking lot to the creek on the south side of the property. 4. Materials: As specified in engineered plans Exhibit 1, the retaining wall shall be proposed as a concrete wall and alternately as a dry stack interlocking block wall, if appropriate. 5. Demolition: To include demolition, removal, and proper disposal of existing retaining wall, sidewalk, asphalt, and any other waste as specified in engineered plans Exhibit 1. The integrity of the substrate behind the wall shall be maintained at all times. 6. Schedule: Work is to commence once a Standard Construction Contract is signed and a Notice to Proceed is issued, and shall be completed without delay according to the proposed time for completion. 7. Contractor to Supply: all materials, supplies, tools, labor, bonds, insurance, permits and safety precautions necessary to complete the work. 8. Contractor's Representative: shall have a responsible local representative available at all times while the work is in progress under this contract. The Contractor shall be required to furnish the name, address, and telephone number where such local representatives may be reached during the time that the work contemplated by this contract is in progress.
