This is a public synopsis of a forthcoming solicitation in accordance with FAR 36.213-2. This is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation documents are currently publicly available. This notice is for Request for Quote Number 36C24225Q0235 Room G17 Remove Windows and Fix Leak at Brooklyn VA Medical Center, New York Harbor Healthcare System Brooklyn located at 800 Poly Place Brooklyn, NY 11209. This project will be 100% Set-Aside to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Competition for this procurement is restricted to verified SBA Cert SERVICE- DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) Contractors. The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in https://veterans.certify.sba.gov. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors with a Size Standard of $22 million IAW VAAR 852.219-10 the VetCert (formerly VIP listed) SDVOSB. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, test equipment, shop drawings, technical manuals, transportation, calculations, and safety, necessary to Room G17 Remove Windows and Fix Leak in accordance with VA specifications at http://www.cfm.va.gov/til/specs.asp. Work shall meet all VA design guidelines and requirement. PROJECT COMPLETION: Contractor to start immediately after receiving the Notice to Proceed and complete required work in 60 calendar days. Prospective contractors must be registered and certified online with SBA VetCert https://veterans.certify.sba.gov and must be registered at https://www.sam.gov in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 to be eligible for award. A site visit will be held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the site visit will be included in the RFQ document. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on/about January 27th, 2025.
