Reference Number 0000372936 The City of Ecorse is requesting proposals to provide Construction Administration, Inspection and Material Testing services for the DWSRF grant watermain replacement project. The City will be replacing approximately 6,500 feet of 6" watermain with new 8" watermain along 2nd Street, 5th Street, 7th Street, 8th Street, and Beach Street. In addition, the City will be replacing the existing 12" watermain along Mill Street with a new watermain from 9th Street to Jefferson Avenue. Scope of Services A. Provide survey staking services as requested by the Contractor for layout of the watermain replacement construction B. Provide construction administration including the following: a. Shop drawing review b.Coordinate and lead pre-construction and progress meetings c.Daily communication and Coordination with Inspector and Contractor d. Provide contractor pay applications e.Review Inspector Daily Reports (IDR) f. Process contract modifications g. Provide proper grant required documents h.Rail inspection coordination i. Coordinate close out documentation j.Provide as-built locations C. Provide full-time inspection during the length of the construction a. Provide Daily Inspection Reports (I DR) summarizing construction activities for the day b. Communicate and coordinate daily construction plans with Contractor c. Coordinate with Conrail and Canadian National Rail for 12" watermain jack and bore along Mill Street D.
