In selected areas (see Appendix D and Appendix E), existing concrete will be removed, subgrade will be trenched to the full depth of existing concrete, tree roots will be ground as needed, concrete forms will be staked, and wet concrete will be poured and finished. After the concrete has hardened, side forms will be removed and all disturbed areas will be backfilled with topsoil, compacted, and graded level with the new concrete. Vendors are required to quote and use materials in accordance with the requirements of the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). In identified areas (see Appendix D and Appendix E), existing concrete will be removed, subgrade will be trenched to the full depth of existing concrete, tree roots will be ground as needed, concrete forms will be staked, and wet concrete will be poured and finished.
