The Project consists of replacing approximately 12,684 feet of critical water main in established residential neighborhoods: 3rd Street from Cicotte to Southfield, 4th Street from Southfield to Suburban, Monroe Avenue from Labadie to White, High Street from Mill to Le Blanc, 8th Street from Southfield to Cicotte, Salliotte from Jefferson to End of Line, Drennan from Josephine to Salliotte. Replacement will include upsizing from 6-inch to 8-inch Class 54 Ductile Iron water main and all associated valves and hydrants via open cut construction. Jack & bore in steel casing will be under the railroad crossing. Project includes replacement of 500 lead or galvanized services. All known lead/galvanized services along replacement will be replaced, and remaining will be throughout the city. Bids shall remain firm for a period of 130 days.
